Everybody else is doing it, so why not me?

After years of reluctance and loth, I finally find myself creating my own blog.

Why this sudden change of heart, you ask? Well simply put, I've grown to like the concept. Or maybe the concept has grown on me. Irrespective of who's doing the growing, the fact is that I find myself increasingly surfing the blogosphere (and getting addicted to it). Blogs, over the years, seem to have evolved from a medium of self-expression for geeks into a forum for discussing contemporary and thought-provoking issues.

My own blog however, as the name suggests, shall not delve into such onerous matters. It shall instead strive to be as superficial and irreverential as possible. Having said that, I must caution the casual reader that I may occasionally, in times of lesser mirth, dabble into the dark and nebulous. For the present though, I shall be frivolous and flippant.

Onward then. Let the insanity begin.
